Ice Power Netherlands sponsoring Paralympics OS 2012

Ice Power distributor in the Netherlands, Medzorg, has signed a sponsor contract with three Dutch sport ladies participating Paralympics 2012 

- Laura de Vaan (handbike cyclist, World Champion 2011) www.lauradevaan.nl

Laura de Vaan, PhD Linguistics, won gold and bronze at World Championship paracycling in September 2011. She also won the time trial at the world championships hand biking in Roskilde, Denmark. She may now call herself  time trial World Champion and wears the whole year ahead the RAINBOW JERSEY.

Laura traveled 15.2 km in a time of 27 minutes and 14 seconds, that's an average speed of around 33.5 miles per hour. A few days later she also won the bronze medal in the road race, another part of the world championships.

At the Olympic Games London 2012 , her second Olympics participation (Beijng 2008), she is favorite (gold-) medalist in both disciplines : time trial and road race.

Katrin Goeken and Kim van Dijk have a handsome victory achieved last February  2012 at the World Championship Indoor at Los Angeles USA. They captured a bronze medal and are on very good course for the 2012 Olympics in London. They will participate on their first Paralympic Games at two disciplines (time trial and road race) with good chances for medal.
